No. MMA has no universally accepted belt scale. Practitioners keep their original ranks —their BJJ belt, their wrestling or boxing experience— and level is measured mainly in competition. DigitalDojo reflects that with one scale per discipline.
Can a student be in several disciplines at once?
Yes. Each student has a single profile and can train several disciplines, with attendance and ranks for each one kept separate.
Can I separate striking, grappling and wrestling classes?
Yes. You create each class with its timetable, coach and register: striking, grappling, wrestling, MMA sparring or conditioning.
Do I keep my students’ BJJ belts?
Yes. The BJJ discipline has its own scale of belts and stripes, and each student’s ranks are stored on their profile with dates, next to whatever they train in other disciplines.
Can I define my own levels for my MMA programme?
Yes. You set up the scale you use in your programme —numbered levels, phases or your own categories— and record when each student changes level.
